Day of Reformation

On this day, we honor our history as a denomination and remember our call as a church to continue to be renewed so as to better share the good news of God’s love in Christ in today’s world. We celebrate on this particular day, because, on October 31st, 1517, Martin Luther shared his 95 Theses critiquing the current practices and theology of the church of his day. This act was pivotal in the beginning of a larger movement that is now known as the Reformation.
