“Love one another” is easy enough until you get to “love your enemies”. How are we supposed to do that? And what does it mean to sacrificially? As with so many things, we can’t do it on our own. In reflection of God’s love for us when we often feel unworthy of love, God helps us to love others. This even includes our enemies and those where it takes some effort or sacrifice on our part to overcome all the barriers that separate us. You are deeply and profoundly loved by God, who sacrificed Himself for you. With that love, you are empowered to go beyond your comfort zone and show God’s love to the world.
